How to Measure your Space for Wallpaper
If you're on this page, chances are you're trying to determine the right amount of wallpaper to order – and we're here to simplify the process for you! Let's break down some essential information before we proceed.
Our wallpaper is designed to be applied in panels, seamlessly aligning from left to right. When installed, the panels start from the top and meet side by side. Our peel + stick is applied with a slight overlap. While our traditional wallpaper is applied straight across.
Our peel + stick panels/rolls are 25 inches wide and come in various lengths (96", 108", 120", 132").
Similarly, our traditional wallpaper panels/rolls are 24 inches wide and are available in various lengths (96", 108", 120", 132").
To calculate the quantity you need, you want to measure the entire width and height of your wall. You want to do this in inches! Please see our wallpaper calculator page when you have your dimensions ready!
You want to double check to make sure your measurements are correct!
For wallpaper it's suggested to order a little extra. Having extra wallpaper allows room for trimming, ensuring a smooth installation! As our production is made to order, it's important to purchase enough for your wall in one batch to avoid colour variances between different orders.
While it is possible and common to add to an existing order we are not responsible for colour variances for different orders processed at different times.
Decision Time
Once you've measured your space, you want to decide between our peel + stick or our traditional wallpaper. A reminder that our peel + stick option have 25 inch widths, and our traditional option have 24 inch widths.
If you want PEEL + STICK, divide your width by 25.
If you want TRADITIONAL WALLPAPER, divide your width by 24.
Once you've done that – don't forget this step – ROUND UP to whole numbers. That's the number of rolls you need!
Now, choose the length you want for your wall. You want to make sure you get the correct height for your wall!
TIP: if you're unsure, get the next length up!
For walls with obstacles, you want to measure your wall as if it was a standard wall. Measure the entire width of the space as well as the height. When installing your wallpaper, you will install around your obstacles and trim away the excess once you are happy with your placement!

For walls with a vaulted ceiling, you want to determine the entire width of the wall as well as the tallest point. It's typically best to wallpaper as if it was one square or rectangle, then trim away the excess by the slanted areas once you are happy with your placement!
